The digital scheduler Plan4Life for iPhone and iPad was selected by the McCombs School of business out a long list of applicants. The App will be the focus of 6 full time graduate students. Their purpose will be to research how the app’s unique day planning functionality can be applied to specific professions as a whole and what items will be needed to create a viable product for those industries.
“Appilicious is thrilled to be joining forces with the McCombs graduate students. We strongly believe this will push our product to the next level.” Founder John Koncurat
The company Appilicious, which is headquartered in downtown Austin Texas, developed Plan4Life App. The App functions universally for iPhone and iPad. Plan4Life stands out because it is one of the first apps to be an all-in-one digital scheduling solution. It’s impressive list of combined functions as a day planner, list creator, reminders tool, to-dos and money management set it apart. The Plan4Life App appealed to the students, University of Texas administrators and their growing customer base because of how fast scheduling is accomplished using the apps intuitive technology.
The company realized no one wanted to spend their day entering in meetings and small events. The goal was to create an app that was entirely touch based and eliminate the old style of planning where the user needed to delete, answer fields, then re-enter information as scheduling changes occurred. Thus, Appilicious developed the unique pop-out slider that enables dragging and dropping of appointments and tasks. After which with two fingers the task will expand to the desired duration.
McCombs School of Business saw the potential in Plan4Life because of the core elements represented a model were different components could be tweaked based on individual industry needs. Specifically, it syncs with iCloud (thus with Google Cal, iCal, Outlook etc.) the app meshes what one needs for day-to-day business operations and the needs of personal/home life. While vetting the Plan4Life App leaders in the program discovered how the software could be formatted for the schools own needs, as a campus wide scheduling and collaboration tool.
The prestigious program runs semester long and utilizes all of the University’s resources including the very prominent tech community that surrounds the school. Appilcious is looking forward to creating a live prototype based off the monthly progress meetings and the final presentation of their research in December of this year.
Plan4Life Daily Planner is now available for $8.99 in the USA and is priced accordingly in other regions. The app is available for download to your Apple iPad or iPhone with O.S 6.1 and above. The company is 100% committed to taking customer feedback to keep up with the unique demands of the marketplace.
