Texas Chupacabra Sightings in Texas Attributed to Crossbreeding (Video)Weird News
Recent sightings of a so-called Chupacabra wandering through Texas backyards have led to residents setting traps in a bid to prove the mythical creature’s existence.
Pictures taken in a neighborhood near Texas over the weekend show a hairless canine with a long skinny tail and pointed ears wandering past lawn chairs. The sighting was allegedly the third in the past 11 days.
“It was very vicious, very long, longer than a human,” Gotcha Pest Control employee Claude Griffen said.
Griffen blamed the recent increase in sightings to inbreeding between different species, specifically coyotes and wolves. He claimed that many of the creatures were born in the U.S., but were intentionally bred by those wanted to claim Chupacabra sightings.
“They are practicing the perfection of inbreeding,” Griffen said.
Griffen added that many members of the Houston-area community are exotic pet owners, and that he has seen similar creatures in the past.
In 2008, a DNA analysis determined that an alleged Chupacabra had a mix of coyote and wolf chromosomes, proving Griffen correct.
