The owner of the Guest Suites hotel in Boca Raton filed Chapter 11 to stop a foreclosure auction over a $36.2 million judgment. The 183-room hotel at 701 N.W. 53rd Street was embroiled in litigation in 2009, when Texas-based United Central Bank filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Shubh Hotels Boca LLC and managing member Atul Bisaria, who is now under federal indictment.
