The Cockrell School of Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin has received a $5 million pledge from Exxon Mobil Corp. (NYSE: XOM) chairman and CEO Rex Tillerson and his wife, Renda, to help fund the school’s new Engineering Education and Research Center.
