The 2014 New York Yankees home schedule is jam packed with special days that will honor Yankee legends and provide free giveaway items to fans. Tickets to these and all New York Yankees games may be purchased through New Jersey ticket broker, Select-A-Ticket.

The next scheduled giveaway is May 16th, when a reusable tote bag will be provided to all fans. The next day, the first 18,000 fans through the doors will receive a complimentary keychain. On May 18th, the first 18,000 guests who are age 14 and under will be presented with a drawstring backpack. Fast forward to the Yankees game against the Minnesota Twins on May 31st and the first 18,000 fans age 14 and under will receive a free ice cream bowl.

Here are some of the highlighted Yankee dates by month:

June

June 1 is Yankees Bat Day. The first 10,000 fans age 14 and under will receive a free bat. On June 3rd against the Oakland Athletics, the first 25,000 fans will receive a collectible cup. Two days later, on June 5th, the first 18,000 fans through the doors will be provided with a travel mug. June 18th is Dunkin' Donuts Gift Card Night for the first 18,000 fans who are 21 and older. June 19th is Mark Teixeira Bobblehead Night. The first 18,000 fans through the door will receive a bobblehead doll in his image. Saturday, June 21, is Tino Martinez Day at Yankee Stadium. The following day's game on June 22 is Old Timer's Day where Yankee great Goose Gossage will be honored.

July

July 1 is Cap Night for the first 18,000 guests. The following day, June 2, is Lou Gehrig Bobblehead Day. Friday, July 18th is another Cap Night, presented by Budweiser, for the first fans 21 years of age and older. July 19th is Collectible Truck Day for the first 18,000 fans age 14 and younger. The Sunday, July 20th game against the Cincinnati Reds is the 1999 World Series Champions Fans Ring Day for the first 18,000 fans age 14 and younger. July 21 is Derek Jeter Figurine Night. July 22's game against the Texas Rangers is a Cap Night. July 27th is Paul O'Neill Bobblehead Day for the first 18,000 fans.

August

On Monday, August 4, the first 18,000 guests age 14 and under will receive a Back-To-School Set Night. The next night's game on August 5, is Luggage Tag Night for the first 18,000 guests. August 9 is Brian McCann Fathead Day for the first 18,000 fans age 14 and under. Wednesday, August 20, is Joe Girardi Bobblehead Night for the first 18,000 fans. August 21 is Poster Day. Saturday, August 23rd's game against the Chicago White Sox is Joe Torre Day. Joe's Yankee uniform will be retired during a special ceremony. He is the third Yankee manager to have his number retired. August 24th is Yankees Hello Kitty Bobblehead Day for the first 18,000 fans age 14 and under.

September

The first special date in September is Tuesday, September 9th, when the Yankees play the Tampa Bay Rays. This is Lucy Bobblehead Night. The first 18,000 guests of all ages will receive a complimentary bobblehead. The following game on September 10th is Old School Pennant Night for the first 18,000 guests of all ages. September 18th's game against the Toronto Blue Jays will provide a yet to be determined promotional item for the first 18,000 fans of all ages. September 21st is the Limited Edition Ty Beanie Buddy Day for the first 10,000 fans through the gates who are age 14 and under. Monday, September 22nd's game against the Baltimore Orioles will provide one final, yet to be determined, promotional giveaway for the first 18,000 fans of all ages.

September 25th vs. Baltimore marks the final home game of the regular season and the final regular season home game for Derek Jeter. This ticket will be one of the hottest baseball tickets in years as fans want to take one last chance to say goodbye to one of the greatest Yankees of all-time.
