A pro-gun demonstration at the assassination site of President John F. Kennedy would seem in poor taste to most people, but a small group of gun advocates gather at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Tx., every third Saturday to protest for their Second Amendment rights.
According to the Dallas Observer, the gun group is called Come And Take It Dallas.
The three activists appeared to be carrying rifles, possibly assault weapons, during last Saturday's demonstration, which they posted on YouTube (video below).
On the video, an activist who identified himself as "Rudy" said, "We ain't giving up our guns. I am just sick and tired of these foreigners coming in this country, they have no idea what freedom is all about."
Rudy lamented that Texas Gov. Rick Perry hasn't stopped undocumented immigrants, even though immigration is under federal jurisdiction.
He also slammed people from Britain and Australia, which have far less gun-related deaths than the U.S., but just as much freedom.
Rudy referred to President Obama as a "foreigner that was born in Kenya," noted Talking Points Memo.
“We’re worried about foreigners coming over the border, we’ve got a foreigner as president.” stated Rudy. “We got a foreigner that was born in Kenya that had an illegal birth certificate as president, and you guys worried about foreigners coming over the border. So, the bottom line is we aren’t giving up our guns.”
Later in the video, a pastor is filmed nearby as he condemns a "sexual charged society" and women wearing “sexually charged” clothing as the pro-gun demonstrators yell, "Amen!"
