Nominations are Open, Winner Announced at Whitehat Virtual Technologies' IT Conference Sept. 4th in Austin, TX
Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 30, 2013
Whitehat Virtual Technologies is hosting VMXpo, a technology conference, on September 4th. The Austin-based IT Managed Service Provider announced today that they are looking for the most challenging Citrix environment in Texas to fix for free. Nominations will be taken on their website and the winner will be announced at VMXpo 2013.
The criteria for being selected is simple, there is none other than having a challenging Citrix Environment. All of the nominations will be contacted directly and interviewed by Whitehat in order for them to understand the particular challenges of the nominees and assess which one requires the most help.
“A full 50% of the virtualization environments we see are experiencing performance issues of one kind or another and most of those companies are blind to what is happening because they don’t have the tools to see inside their own environments. We put this event together to let companies know there is no reason to tolerate poor performance out of their virtual environments. This is technology that should be reducing desktop costs and improving productivity, if that bar is not being met, then that is an environment that needs some attention,” said Val King, CEO of Whitehat Virtual Technologies.
Once the “Most Challenging Citrix Environment in Texas” has been identified, Whitehat will schedule the project just as normal. “We will begin by completing a full Assessment of the environment. Proprietary tools our own engineers have developed will be used as well as tools from key partners, Aternity and eG Innovations. This will give us a data center to edge device view, and a view from their mobile phones, iPads and PCs back into the data center so we will have a full 360° view of the environment before we begin. To make sure our job is done we need metrics, the most important metric we measure is the End User Experience. Once the metrics reflect we have it right from the End User perspective, we will know our job is done,” said Gogi Reddy.
Val King states, “This will be a significant challenge for Whitehat. I’ve had more than a few tell me we’re crazy for putting ourselves out there like this, but so be it. I‘m looking forward to the challenge and to being able to claim we conquered the most challenging Citrix environment in Texas. We are a virtualization company, this is what we do, and we believe we have the knowledge, the process, and the tools necessary to fix any environment.”
