The gargantuan reptile weighed more than 750 pounds, and is 14 feet, 10 inches long. Over 100 Whitetail Deer taxidermy mounts ranging between the 200-500 class on the Boone & Crockett scale will be available, as well as four sets of Ivory tusks, a Top 10 Lord Derby, and huge Elk mounts.
Among the top hunter estates being liquidated include that of Irvin Barnhart of Houston, who was considered one of the top 10 hunters in the world. His collection includes numerous Safari Club record book mounts.
Additional estates being liquidated include those of Rick Smith of Midland and Mike Brown of Brownsville. Also included are three estates from Washington state, Oklahoma, and Fort Worth.
